Dr. K. Karunakaran, Director, Centre for Water Resources and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Anna University at Chennai, has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Coimbatore.
Tamil Nadu Governor S. S. Barnala, also the Chancellor of the university, who made the appointment, in a statement said Dr. Karunakaran would hold office for three years from the date of assuming office.
The Vice-Chancellor post remained vacant after the incumbent Dr. R. Radhakrishnan was suspended in September last year following allegations of corruption against him.
VC has instructed to issue all affiliated colleges to with draw olg grade system mark sheets from 2007 and issue percentage mark sheets.But no aut. college is respecting VC and hence refusing to do so. VC has done a good job to help student community.But when will it come to a reality.
