As part of the ongoing efforts to decongest the city roads and streamlining the city traffic, City Police Commissioner C. Sylendra Babu has announced certain changes in the traffic pattern on NSR Road in Sai Baba Colony to be enforced from Tuesday. A release from Mr. Sylendra Babu said that it was decided to change NSR Road and the parallel Azhagesan Road as one way.
The new system would be tried on an experimental basis. NSR Road would be open only for vehicles from Thadagam Road to reach Mettuppalayam Road.
Vehicles from Mettuppalayam Road for reaching Thadagam Road would have to take the Azhagesan Road. Vehicles wanting to reach NSR Road from Azhagesan Road to NSR Road or vice-versa could take Raja Annamalai Road, Bharathi Park 2nd Cross, 4 {+t} {+h} Cross, Bharathi Park 7 {+t} {+h} cross roads.
